Duo Frösche
Duo Frösche was organaized in oct. 2006. This is a Piano Duo by
Kenichi Nishizawa who is composer that established a relationship of
mutual trust with many famous performers, and Mika Nishizawa who studied
composition and graduated first at the composition course of
Kunitachi College of Music.
They are trying to create new repertoires for 4 hands with themselves composition and arrangement, and also try to interpret classic and romantic pieces for 4 hands with the thought of them compositional standpoint. Them intention which is liberal from performing history show us possibility of today and true aim of composers.
...Why Frösche?
Because they love frogs (Frösche is frogs in German), and they love to collect items of pretty frogs. Two frogs which are them favorite was photographed in center of them portrait.
